Summary...

Hello, how is everyone doing today? Well, I'm going to start off by apologizing because my last blog was in June. There are no excuses for not doing what I said I was going to do, so I'm just going to explain what I've been doing and just hope that that's enough to keep readers. I haven't been busy enough to not post once a day like I said I would do, but life has gotten in the way and I've let it. I have still been helping my Mother out by watching my niece, but I've also been lazy and not just with posting on my blog for the readers. Well, all that's going to change starting today. One or more blogs a day no matter what.

My youngest niece, AJ, had a birthday in July and we celebrated it at my Mother's house. We had it on a Friday, so I wasn't there the whole time, but I was glad to see her on her birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" and had cake and ice cream, then I left. I felt so bad because I wasn't able to get her a birthday present, but I know it didn't make her sad because being able to see her even just for a day is plenty. The point of this is to show that you really don't need money to give someone a gift, just your love. And if that's not enough for them, then that's a disappointment, but nothing we can do about that.

Back in August on the 14th, my boyfriend took me out to sushi for our one year anniversary. Even though we only celebrated it by going out, it was plenty for me because we have our love for one another. He also did "make up for it" by buying me something that was $40 last month. He wasn't planning on getting me anything, which was fine with me, but weeks ago, I kept telling him that I wanted this particular item and when he had the money, he got it for me. He then said to me that that could be my gift and I just smiled. I'm not trying to be all "mushy gushy" but I love him so much for just being himself and doing the little things he does and says.

My other niece, AJ's sister, had a birthday in September. Heather, AJ, Mother, Grandmother, Danny, and my Mother-in-law Kammy were there. To be honest though, I wasn't 100% certain my Mother-in-law was going to show up because she hadn't met my family yet. I'm glad she did show up because my niece was very excited to see her and she was excited to meet everyone too. Everyone had a blast and I'm glad everyone did. Kammy and I stayed from 3 to 7 and then we left and went back to her house. Louis showed up as we were leaving which made my niece extremely happy because she loves Louis. It ended up being a really long day for everyone, but it was well worth it.

Halloween was approaching quickly. I had a bored Halloween though because my boyfriend doesn't like doing anything for it and no trick-or-treaters came either because they live in a big complex. "dressed up" by painting my nails orange and black, and wearing my black dress with my black shoes. Maybe it wasn't a costume or I didn't go out and have fun, but I still had my own fun at the house with my Mother-in-law. Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays.

Today is now November 12 and I'm loving my life more and more everyday. I've lost a total of 25 pounds since my very first blog and I'm planning on losing more weight. I've been walking a little bit everyday and just eating better than I did. Remember when I was posting about the 21 day free junk food? Well, I was able to follow that and now I don't eat any junk food. I'll treat myself once in a while, but a lot of the time, chocolate or anything sweet just doesn't sound good to me anymore like it used to. Like I've said before, if you set your mind to it, then you CAN do it.
