Something a Little Different

So, my boyfriend and I are going to be looking for our first place to live. But first, I need to find a job out here in El Cajon. This is just one of the very few blogs I'm making like this. Anyways, my boyfriend already has his job and everything saved, now it's my turn so that way  we can hopefully get our first place by the end of this year. The only reason why I'm saying all this is because it's a life experience that we all have to come across at least once in our lives. Putting all this aside, stay positive in life and keep eating healthy!

Last Day (4/21)

My last day of doing the "No Junk Food Chellenge" for 21 days ended yesterday and I feel amazing! I'm going to be starting something similar to it, but the only difference is that I will be doing shakeology. My mom and I are going to be doing it together and we're ordering it from my Cousin Carissa. She just became a Coach at Team Beachbody Coaches. You do this for 21 days as well. If you want more info on this, then please feel free to contact me and I will give you more information. If you are serious, then I suggest that if you're goiing to do this, then take a before and after picture; and pictures in between. So that way you can see how much you've progressed. I know that no one likes to take any kiind of picture when you don't like how you look beffore you get down to your desired weight. But, the beauty of taking a before picture is that once you take an after picture and keep it up, then you'll say to yourself "Wow, that was me before I lost this weight??", you won't care about taking selfies or being in any picture and you'll want to go to the beach, wear your swimsuit, and wear smaller clothes once you lose the weight.

Hard in the Beginning, Easy towards the End

I'm going to talk about how hard it can be in the beginning to do this and how easy it can be towards the end to do this. In the beginning, all you're thinking about are all the foods and drinks you're used to having before doing this. Well, they don't exist in your everyday eating/drinking anymore, not if you're 110% serious about eating more healthy. When going grocery shopping, you always want to make a list of food items you can eat; makes shopping a little less hard. Towards the last week of doing this, you will find it easier to eat like this and shop for yourself. Granted, it is still hard even after the 21 days, but if you always put in 110%, then you can do it! Just be careful about eating Gluten Free items because even though you're eating heaalthy and losing the weight, you can gain weight from eating Gluten Free food if you're NOT Gluten Intolerant. Very few people may think that all that information, and more, don't apply or don't matter, but in reality, they do. The only way you're going to believe in all this and accomplish, is to put all your effort into it in the beginning and continue doing it. Just remember, absolutely ZERO cheating during the first 21 days because then it'll only make it harder for you.

Bye Bye Cravings

Today is my 16th day into the "No Junk Food Challenge" and I feel amazing! Just like my Cousin Carissa did. Once your 21 days are up or even close to it, it's so easy to shop for food and to ignore your cravings. This may not work for some people, but it will work if you put your mind and heart into it. If you have confidence that you can do it and keep it up for good, then you can definitely do it. I've lost 14 pounds total so far; the first week you start doing this, you'll lose 10 pounds easy because that's all the new fat that was stored. Once you lose the first 10 pounds, it takes a little longer to lose more only because it's fat that's been stored for a while, but if you do keep it up, then you'll lose the weight. If I can do it and I love chocolate and candy, then you can do it too! I believe in myself and everyone.

Thinking about cheating?

Are you doing this challenge as I still am? Are you thinking about cheating and it's only your 5th day? Well don't. If you've gone this far like I have, don't eat or drink anything that will force you to start over. The reason why this challenge is for 21 days straight with ZERO junk food, bread, noodles, all drinks besides water, etc is because anything after 3 weeks straight is a habit. Well, that's exactly what you want, to do this for 21 days straight to make it a habit. Some people like to call this a diet even though you keep telling them it's just a "No Junk Food Challenge". Just stop trying yo waste your breathe because even though it's DEFINITELY not a diet, just keep nodding your head. If you're doing it the natural way with NO diet pills of any kind, diet drink, diet smoothie, or diet anything else, then it's NOT a diet. It CAN be your soon eating and drinking habits after 3 weeks and you'll barely have to think about it. Believe me though, it definitely is hard the first few days to say no to certain kinds of food, but if you're strong and confident in yourself, then you have nothing to worry about because you know you won't do it.

Healthy Eating

Personally, I think that eating healthy is the best thing for anyone. The reason why I believe that, is because not only are you cutting out junk food and drinks 99.9% of the time, but it helps you stay in shape while exercising. Do the "No Junk Food Challenge" for 21 days and see how you feel. It doesn't mean to just eat less everyday because that's definitely not healthy, but it means to just eat smaller  proportions everyday and no junk food and only water. I don't believe in dieting, like diet pills, drinks, food, etc because once you stop doing the dietary supplements, then what happens to your body? It becomes hungry for any food and you'll either eat until you're full, OR you'll start starving yourself which is very unhealthy for everyone. The "No Junk Food Challenge" is NOT a diet because the only thing you're doing is cutting out all junk food and drinks and eating smaller amounts of healthy food everyday.

Advice on Daily Routines

I'm going to give my advice on daily routines because some people my age and around my age still have that "I don't give a shit" attitude. My advice is to stay active even if it's just walking or cleaning, stay healthy because it really does affect your everyday attitude and relationships with people. I just started a "No Junk Food Challenge" that includes: no biscuits or cookies, no cake, donuts or muffins, no candy, no pastries, no chocolate, no white bread, no ice cream, no fast food, no chips, and no soda. IF you want to eat SOME bread with something healthy, I recommend to get Wheat Bread, I just bought some today and for wheat bread, it's very delicious. Do this challenge for 21 days straight and you'll feel really good. My cousin accomplished this challenge and she feels really good about herself and it's now easy for her to eat daily like this. She also told me that she has a much better attitude about everything and towards people and herself. It's NOT called a diet, just eating healthier and cutting out all junk food until you can control all eating habits.
